CSCIA Pour – June 14th 2025 (HMST)
Back at the Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology for the third annual CSCIA Iron Pour, this time featuring special guests: My Lady Hamilton (Kiera “Kiki” Boult), Gabe Akagawa (Foundry Tree), Ismaila Alfa (Fresh Air CBC Radio) and Blacksmith Jen Lipski (Jen Lipski Fine Art, Niagara). The Iron Pour – Saturday, June 14th

The 3rd annual Iron Pour is taking place at the Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology on Saturday, June 14th. The furnace burn-in will start at 12 noon with first metal expected to be at 2pm. We will be selling scratch blocks (artist tiles) starting at 11am! First come, first serve. Last year we sold out! The tiles will be poured at the event, however, pickup will be later in the day, as they need to cool down.
Any unclaimed scratch blocks (or if you cannot pick them up at the end of the day) will be brought to Art Aggregate in Hamilton for pick-up after the event.
The Body Casts a Shadow: Exhibition Opening – Thursday, June 12th
Thursday, June 12th at 5 – 7pm
The Woodshed @Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology.
The exhibition is open from Wednesday, June 11th – Sunday, June 15th

Artist Talk: Katie Hovencamp & Kenneth Payne – Friday, June 13th
Friday, June 13th from 7-9pm at Hamilton Artist Inc. light refreshments will be provided 🙂

Ruby Assembly Video – November 2023 at York University (Pour 1)
York University Pour – Saturday, March 15th 2025

Come join us in observing the iron pour at York University, on March 15th from noon until we finishing pouring all the moulds!!! Indoor seating is available (should it be a cold day!) as well as a spectator section outside (safely fenced off).
June 8th 2024 Iron Pour at the Museum of Seam and Technology in Hamilton, ON
The Iron Pour returns for a second year in a row at the Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology, in Hamilton, Ontario on June 8th 2024.

Come join us for the Iron Pour happening at the Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology on Saturday, June 8th 2024! We are pleased to offer this free public event. Watch Ruby, our cupolette furnace pour iron into sand moulds and scratch blocks. We look forward to seeing you there!

June 7th at 7pm: Artists Allison Ouellette-Kirby and Noah Kirby will be giving their Artists’ Talk at the Woodshed located at the Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology.
June 8th: Our 2nd annual Public Iron Pour located at the Hamilton Museum of Steam and Technology. Burn in of the furnace will take place at around noon with the pour starting at around 2pm.
Spring Social 2024:
Join us for an exciting in-person event, the Spring Social Fundraiser (CSCIA) on Saturday, March 30th at 7pm.
Enjoy live music by the Long Branch Band, games, crafts and performance art.
This is an all ages event, kids 12 and under have free admittance. Choose the “Kids Ticket” option at checkout (free) to indicate you will be bringing your child(ren) to the event.
